Neutral ground, hosts in Prim B metro (3rd league), Newell’s from Primera and Newell’s will rest lal regulars

paulista – Sao Paulo

Only three players who were holders in the match against Bragantino begin the duel in Jundiaí: goalkeeper Rogério Ceni and strikers Luis Fabiano and Wallyson.

Corinthians – Penapolense

With seven changes, Timon has mixed team against Penapolense
Without Cassio, Renato Augusto and Igor, Tite ‘safe’ other four starters for classic game of the Libertadores. Paulinho should be on the bench
The new team can not exactly be called “Expressinho” because all substitutes have been owners at some point last season. The training had Julio Cesar, Edenilson, Chicao, Paul Andrew and Fábio Santos; Guilherme Andrade and Guillermo, Jorge Henrique, Romarinho and Emerson Sheik; Guerrero.

Guatemala

Suchitepequez – Comunicaciones dnb1 @ 1,75

Suchitepéquez didnt started well this season. After last season when they won regular part of apertura easly (with 11-0-0 at home) than they started to drop in clasura and in this opening season. They was always good at home. This game will be on neutral ground, on Estadio Israel Barrios (their stadium has destroyed pitch). But dont hjudge too early. That stadium is not far from them and i see in local medias that it is better for them, there will be much more their fans which will make ’12th player’ (their stadium has 10 000 capacity while this one can recive 20 000 fans). True, hard to bet on some team in bad form but i belive there will come better days..

Comunicaciones is on top. They are league lider and only club which didnt loose yet. But, they have problems for this game. They cannot count on 8 players. 7 players are with Guatemala national team: Juan José Paredes, Wilfred Velásquez, Carlos Figueroa, Elías Enoc Vásquez, José Manuel Contreras, Erwin Morales y Dwight Pezzarossi and Estrada for Costa Rica

Prediction: 0-1

Cerro ahead of Carapeguá game – Photo: D10.com.py

Incredibly Cerro Porteño have not won in the league since that incredible superclásico to decide the title, they seem to be focussing on the Copa Sudamericana having made major changes to the side last week which they lost 3-2 to Sol de América. It is expected that the bulk of the international call ups will be rested again, but with Pedro Benítez will probably come in to ensure Cerro don’t have too many foreigners in the side. Last year Carapeguá relied on Echeverría early on, this season it has been Jorge Ayala who has been the goalscorer. Cerro may only have one win in five but Carapeguá have just one victory in 18 and are staring into the Intermedia-shaped abyss, it should be an away win although it might not be pretty.

Carapeguá XI (probable): Fabiano Heves; Raúl Cáceres, Marcos Arce, Derlis Correa, Cristian Martínez; Rodrigo Cantero, Esteban Ramírez, Diosnel Almirón, Ricardo Ortiz; Jorge Ayala, Marco Prieto

Cerro Porteño XI (probable): Junior Fernández; Mariano Uglessich, Pedro Benítez, César Benítez; Luis Cardozo, Fidencio Oviedo, Édgar González, Walter López; Roberto Nanni, Santiago Salcedo, Rodrigo López

BEST BET: As we’ve mentioned before Cerro do like to score late on so maybe the HT Draw/FT Cerro bet offers better value than just an outright win
