Flabio Torres, the quarterback who has thrilled fans with his act, considered important to present an alternative equipment, to allow holders to be on the best way to get free refills at the Monumental in Santiago de Chile on Wednesday night, where expected to be confirmed between the teams advancing to the next round, if they beat or tie the game against Colo Colo.
The main group was subjected to a series of activities in order to recover after demanding job they had in the match against Colo Colo, so the coaching staff decided to take players who have played in the Copa Colombia, for duel with the capital club. link

25.8. Odense – Nordsjaelland ah0 OB

Odense without Schoop (mf 3/0), Kadrii (mf 2/3)

Nordsjaelland will rest atrick Mtiliga (df 3/0), Anders ‘AC’ Christiansen (mf 5/0), Morten Nordstrand (att 4/3, topscorer), Jens Stryger Larsen (mf 5/0) og Marioe Ticinovic (mf 5/0). Also out Tychosen (att 3/0), Lorentzen (mf 0), Bech (0/0), Laudrup (0/0), Aynaoglu (0) S. Christiansen (0/0)

Nordsjaelland play very poor this season and hosts definitly has chance

Chile, Palestino – Universidad Catolica 2   3-6

odds drop while i was finishing analise

Palestino without two defenders, Escalona (df 4/0) and Valencia (df 4/1).

Universidad Catolica played copa sudamericana game where they destroyed Emelec 4-0 so no need for resting players and coach told he is gouing on this game (cannot said on trip when are both from same city and also it will be on Nacional Stadium so Catolica will have even more fans) with strongest squad. Cristian Alvarez (df 4/0 and Milovan Mirošević (mf 4/1) are out but new player Nicolás Sebastián will probably debut- He was playing before in Cobresal scored 13 goals, than went to Palestino where scored 35 goals in 3 season and last year was in Neftci in Azerbaijan and scored 26 goals in 31 round).

Catolica won last 4 games when Palestino was home team, they are one of best chilean teams and Palestino is much weaker and also game is Nacional Stadium..

Cristopher Toselli; Marko Biskupovic, Hans Martínez, Enzo Andía, Alfonso Parot; Michael Ríos, Tomás Costa, Fernando Cordero; Fernando Meneses, Nicolás Castillo e Ismael Sosa.

Felipe Núñez; Felipe Campos, Javier Capelli, Víctor Suárez y Diego Rosende; Pablo Tamburrini, Roberto Avalo, Joao Ortiz y Sergio Daniel López; Roberto Gutiérrez y Diego Chaves.

Ponte Preta – Cruzeiro 2

Ponte Preta played two days ago Copa Libertadores game. They have weak defence. On the other side is Cruzeiro with best league attack (more than 2 goals per game, currently on 2nd place). I belive it’s good for them they have opponent which play with 3 players in back line ..

Ponte Preta: Paulo César Carpegiani liked both of acting against the Macaca Cricklewood that will repeat much of the team on Saturday. The only novelty is the entry of William, who is the club’s top scorer this season (25 goals) and top scorer of the competition (ten). The Bridge will play with: Roberto; Caesar, Concrete and Diego Sacoman; Régis, Magal, Bob Fernando, Chiquinho and Uendel; Rildo and William.
Cruseiro coach Marcelo Oliveira assess the physical matter of each player, before confirming the 11 that will start the game, but it ensured that you could save some cardholders against Ponte. Despite the mystery, the cruise will go into the field with Fabio, Ceará, Dede (Leo), and Egidio Bruno Rodrigo (Everton); Nilton Souza, Éverton Ribeiro, Ricardo Goulart and William; Borges.

Ponte Preta: Embezzlement is the only defender Wescley, who is recovering from knee surgery. The other players are available to Carpegiani.

Cruiseiro without suspended players, the right-Mayke with an injury in the basin, and striker Luan, with a partial tear of the ligament in his right knee, are the ones delivered to the medical department of the Fox. Dagobert, in physical recovery, is also out.

Brazil Serie B, Boa – Palmeiras  1-0

Palmeiras will rest some palyers

Boa: since Wednesday, coach Nedo Xavier is mystery and closed all the training team. In addition to the four new players who can debut, NEDO has Walisson around the defender, who has recovered from an injury. With that, good to play against Palmeiras with Douglas; Airton (Leandro), André Astorga, Ciro Sena (Thiago Carvalho) and Petros (Crystian); Valek, Rodrigo Souza, Malachi (Francismar) and Marcelo Paraíba; Luiz Paulo and Fernando Karanga.

Palmeiras: thinking in the second duel with Atletico-PR on Oct. 28 in Curitiba, the second round of the Copa Brazil, Gilson Kleina decided to use a mixed team against Good Sport. Besides the players spared the trip he will Mendieta as an option in the bank, do you know if you can count on the return of Valdivia before the Hurricane. Thus, Palmeiras will the field with: Bruno, Luis Felipe, Tiago Alves, Henrique and Fernandinho; Eguren, Márcio Araújo, Charles and Felipe Menezes; Ananias and Alan Kardec.

Boa: the lateral Airton, who was injured, returned to training, but is still doubt. DM are the defenders and Neylor Carciano, beyond the lateral and Rafinha Sheslon.

Palmeiras : Wesley (suspended by the expulsion against Paysandu), Valdivia (swelling of the right thigh), Marcelo Oliveira (right calf strain), plus Fernando Prass, Vilson, Juninho and Leandro, spared not traveled to Minas Gerais.

Copa Sudamericana 2012: Olimpia vs Emelec Preview

Olimpia vs Emelec
Estadio Manuel Ferreira a.k.a Para Uno
28/08/2012, 20:45 (01:45 BST)

Olimpia take on Emelec for the fourth time in under a year in the Copa Sudamericana 2nd round 1st leg in Asunción. The Paraguayans progressed when these two sides met at the same stage of last year’s competition although five of the starting XI from the 1st leg in 2011 have now moved on. Although El Decano looked comfortable against Danubio in the last round the Uruguayans were poor and undoubtedly Emelec will provide a stronger challenge. There will of coures, be a sense of revenge in the air as Emelec knocked Olimpia out of the Copa Libertadores group stages earlier in the year.

Emelec got the better of Olimpia their first meeting in 2012 – Photo: AFP

The probable Olimpia line-up is still unknown (see below) with Gregorio Pérez still trying to find the right blend of attacking and defensive players, he began his time with three cleansheets but they have conceded in their four games since including four goals in the last two games. With no foreign-player restrictions in the Copa Sudamericana the Uruguayan Sebastián Ariosa is expected to come in at left-back which offers more of an offensive threat down that side. Also Maxi Biancucchi is installed into the starting line-up probably at the expense of Arnaldo Castorino. The dangerman recently has been Juan Manuel Salguiero who usually plays just behind the strikers in a 4-3-1-2 formation. However, there is talk of him being dropped to allow Olimpia to play in a more traditional 4-4-2 with defensive players Miguel Amado and Alejandro Silva in the middle; Jorge Nuñez and Richard Ortiz would be on the flanks. That would help protect the full backs against Emelec’s electric wingers.

Gregorio Perez  – Photo: D10.com.py

Emelec needed a last minute penalty to get through to this round and in general they have been scraping victories all season, currently second in the Ecuadorean league with a goal difference of just two. They have a strong forward line with ex-Boca Juniors Marcos Mondiani the creative force while compatrit Luciano Figueroa provides power. Enner Valencia is pure pace down the right hand side and in central defence they have Cristian Nasuti who was excellent for Libertad in the first half of the year.

It is likely to be a tight game, but the home advantage should be enough for Olimpia to come out on top.

Olimpia XI (probable 4-3-1-2): Martín Silva; Alejandro Silva, Salustiano Candia, Enrique Meza, Sebastián Ariosa; Eduardo Aranda, Miguel Amado, Richart Ortiz; Juan Manuel Salgueiro; Maxi Biancucchi, Fredy Bareiro

Olimpia XI (probable 4-4-2): Martín Silva, Richard Salinas, Salustiano Candia, Enrique Meza, Sebastián Ariosa; Jorge Nuñez, Miguel Amado,  Alejandro Silva, Richard Ortíz; Maxi Biancucchi, Nestor Bareiro

Prediction: 2-1

Selected Odds: Olimpia win 1.76, Draw 3.65, Emelec win 5.8, 1-0 scoreline 6.8, Over 2.5 goals 2.28

Best Bet: Despite the prediction above they BTTS (Both teams to score) bet at 2.12 might be safer than Over 2.5 goals, it is worth bearing in mind that 3 of the 4 previous meetings have gone over 2.5 in case you do fancy that

Union de Santa Fe – Boca Juniors

Boca will rotate squad because of copa Sudamericana game

Thinking Independent rematch, Falcioni will most alternates to visit Santa Fe Union . passes and knows the team.

A tie dying for Independent complicated at first glance, the picture of Boca in Copa Sudamericana . Less than two days for the next confrontation , Falcioni disputed several of the common holders stay in Buenos Aires to rest thinking back next Wednesday.

Alternates who will have their chance to face tatengue, with the requirement that Boca pinned follow the championship fight. But the kids will not be alone: will be accompanied by some references as Rolando Schiavi and Diego Rivero . Meanwhile, Oscar Ustari , having recovered from his strained hamstring, not the game on Saturday, but before the Red.

To emphasize the ownership of Acosta and Albin , who yesterday joined his first minutes, and the First Division debut in juvenile Fernando Evangelista , a left lateral to be followed.

With this background, training for Saturday is: Sebastian D’Angelo; Emiliano Albin, Rolando Schiavi, Christian Cellay, Fernando Evangelista, Diego Rivero, Cristian Erbes, Nicolás Colazo; Leandro Paredes; Lautaro Acosta and Nicolas Blandi.

Sweden, Djurgården – Helsingborg

Djurgarden -0,25 @ 1,93

Djurgarden come into good form (didnt loose on 16 games). Have some missings but nothing new, they are without that players few games
Helsingborg palyed before 3 days Champions elague game with Celtic, loose 2-0 but still hope they can make mirracle and come into CL groups so rotations are important. Also they have some important missings: defenders Hanstveit (15/0), Edman (6/0), Atta (12/2), Wahlstedt (6/0) and probably Sadiku (18/0) + midfielders Bergholtz (5/0) and Lindstrom (14/0) all out.

Lokomotiv Moskva – Dinamo Moskva

Lokomotiv’s chairman Olga come into dressing room after last game. She was angry on palyers after bad resaults. She said that she will double up their winning premiums for this tree next games so players will be extra motivated
Dinamo played Europa league game 2 days ago in Germany, loose vs Stuttgart 2-0, now playing 2nd game for 3 days

Lokomotiv out: Guilherme (gk 0/0), Torbinski (mf 1/0)

Dinamo out: Rykov (df 5/0), Kuranyi (att 5/0)

Fenerbahce – Gaziantepspor

Fener loose first game for groups of Champions League (Spartak Moscow) and now waiting 2nd, most important game at home. Some rotations are expected. Also, they will play without fans, only children and women are possible. H2h is also very suspicious to me, in last tree seasons was in each of them ht/ft 2/1 or 1/2..

Leuven – Anderlecht

Anderlecht loose very important CL game but they have one more chance, 2nd game and coach decide to rest some players:

Badeend: value on the side of leuven. 1.58 average for Anderlecht is just so wrong. I see OHL +1 already dropped from 2.00, a pitty. Since OHL is in the jupiler league they only lost 5 games at home. The atmosphere is always great, more spectators then clubs like Lokeren, Kortrijk, Zulte … that already play in the JPL for years. Goals is another option, in all those games at home they didnt score in only 2 games and only kept the 0 once.

Selectie van Anderlecht voor de match tegen OHL:

Bedi, Bruno, Canesin Matos, De Sutter, Deschacht, Hawsawi, Iakovenko, Jovanovic, Juhasz, Kaminski, Kanu, Kljestan, Marecek, Molins, Odoi, Praet, Roef, Safari, Wasilewski

No Biglia, Proto, Kouyaté, Mbokani and Gille

Celje – Maribor

maribor loose 2-1 vs Dinamo and will rest some players (they do that before too). Celje loose their main striker, topscorer (went to Ludogorec)

Palmeiras – Santos  dnb2

Sasntos come into good form. They had bed resaults on beggining of season (traht’s why is that position on table) but they had played lot games with reserves because of copa libertadores and after that main players was with national team on olimpics. There are some long term injuries, not important. Back are Júan, Bernardo and Gerson Magrão (Juan will start from begining).
On the other side Palmeiras in problems. They are oscilating, they was focusing on Copa Sudamericana where they relegate two days ago (Santos played also, they played Recopa Sudamericana) and they have out important standard players: Thiago Heleno, Artur, fernandinho, Marcos Assuncao, Daniel Carvalho, Marcio Araujo, Wesley, Luan and Maikon Leite

SC Braga vs SC Beira-Mar

Braga will play in Italy for few days, most important game with Udinese (1-1) and they will rest some of main players. CVoach will for sure rest Ismaily (regular defender) and  Alan Silva (important mf), even some more expected

Inverness – Celtic

Manager calls on squad for testing trip

NEIL Lennon is missing a string of first-team regulars for Saturday´s clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle but regardless of what side he fields, he knows it will be a tough test in the Highlands.

Joe Ledley and Beram Kayal have both been ruled out following scans to their groin and ankle respectively, while Scott Brown, Georgios Samaras, Kris Commons and Thomas Rogne are all doubts. Anthony Stokes remains on the sidelines along with Daryl Murphy and Dylan McGeouch.

O’Higgins vs Cerro Porteño preview

O’Higgins vs Cerro Porteño
Estadio El Teniente
26/07/2012, 20:30 (01:30 BST)

The Paraguayan champions take on the Chilean vice-champions in this intriguing clash in Rancagua, it is Cerro Porteño’s first Copa Sudamericana game since 2010. With a host of new signings during the close season the azulgrana are expected to make a big push for continental glory in this their centenary year.

The champions look relaxed on flight to Chile – Photo: Julio Dos Santos Twitter

Uruguayan coach will stick with his 3-5-2 system that has worked well so far, it is a fluid system with playmaker Jonathan Fabbro getting close to the strikers so at times looks like a 3-4-3. Carlos Bonet, recently acquired from Libertad, is set to make his debut at right wingback while Hernan Rodrigo López was registered just in time and is expected to partner Santiago Salcedo up front. Like Olimpia on Tuesday the emphasis will be on not losing with Fidencio Oviedo a key component in breaking up play.

O’Higgins are back on the international stage after a 20-year drought without the man who helped get them there, Enzo Gutierrez, who was snapped up by Chilean title winners Universidad de Chile. They will probably line up in their familiar 4-3-3 formation which includes Paraguayan Rodrigo Rojas in midfield. He is a dangerman but the away side look stronger all over the pitch and I expect Cerro to take at least a point here.

Cerro Porteño XI (probable): Diego Barreto; Luis Cardozo, Pedro Benítez, Cesar Benítez; Carlos Bonet, Fidencio Oviedo, Julio dos Sanots, Walter López; Jonathan Fabbro; Rodrigo López, Santiago Salcedo

Prediction: 1-1

Selected Odds: O’Higgins win 2.1, Draw 3.55, Cerro Porteño win 3.85, 1-1 scoreline 7.2, Under 2.5 goals 1.92

Best Bet: Backing Cerro DNB (Draw No Bet) looks pretty tempting at 2.46 as I don’t think they will lose and could overpower O’Higgins if they click offensively

Guaraní vs Oriente Petrolero
Estadio Rogelio Livieres a.k.a Dos Bocas
26/07/2012, 18:15 (23:15 BST)

Guaraní begin their new era under fledgling coach Diego Alonso, the 37-year-old comes from Bella Vista in his native Uruguay. It is their fourth appearance in the Copa Sudamericana and they want to try and go one better than their previous participation in 2010 when they reached the 2nd round.

Photo: Prensa Club Guarani

Pre-season friendlies have seem the aborigen line-up in a standard 4-4-2 and their strength certainly lies in midfield with plenty of options to toy with. The Uruguayan duo of Marcelo Palau and Sergio Orteman will try and dominate the game in central midfield, if Oriente give the latter too much space they will be punished. The youngsters Luis de la Cruz and Blas Cáceres seem to have been favoured on either flank but Alonso will have similar options on the bench with Dario Ocampo and Iván Gonzalez Ferreira.

Sergio Orteman will be a key figure – Photo: D10.com.py

Oriente Petrolero are one of the better teams from Bolivia and ended last season with a six-game unbeaten streak. They have one player who will know Guaraní well, the Argentine Danilo Carando was at Sportivo Carapeguá during the Apertura. I’ve been told by a Bolivian football expert that they ‘blow hot and cold’ and that inconsistency is evident in their away form in 2012, Pld 11 W 4 D 3 L 4, meaning the aurinegro will be hoping to catch them cold. Overall I feel the home team’s strength in midfield will be too much for their opponents and it should be a comfortable win.

Guaraní XI (probable): Pablo Aurrecochea; Tomas Bartomeus, Alejandro Rodríguez, Luis Cabral, Elvis Marecos; Luis de la Cruz, Marcelo Palau, Sergio Orteman, Blas Cáceres; Dante López, Carlos Hidalgo

Prediction: 2-0

Selected Odds: Guaraní win 1.61, Draw 4.0, Oriente Petrolero win 6.8, 2-0 scoreline 8.0, Under 2.5 goals 1.95

Best Bet: At the moment Guaraní cleansheet is 2.2 which seems generous considering only Cobreloa have scored away from home in the opening four Copa Sudamericana games, obviously a safer bet is the outright win
