Argentina, Racing – San lorenzo  2-0
San Lorenzo won Libertadores tree days ago and there was some chances coach rest players but seems not, he trained with first team yesterday (only tree players doubtfull) so posible sam e squad as in Copa Libertadores finale. so for me now no bet

16.8. Ballymena – Portadown   3-2
“Ronnie McFall did well over the summer in terms of strengthening his squad, signing Robbie Garrett, Mark McAllister and Michael Gault from Linfield.

Last season’s top scorer Darren Murray (att 37/23) plus defenders Chris Ramsey (df 33/2), Emmett Friars (df 32/3)  and Garry Breen (df 34/1) are all available after suspensions.
They missed the opening win over Linfield and Wednesday’s defeat by champions Cliftonville .
Close season signing from Linfield, Michael Gault, is still suspended.
Ballymena duo Tony Kane (df 32/09  and Gary Thompson (att 30/4) are also serving bans.
This is based on folowing league for some time (transfer window, team quality, pre season and season previews)..there is early season, not some injury maybe for some combinations on tickets..
16.8. Netherlands, Vitesse – Cambuur  1   2-2

Vitesse few players back to their parent club Chelsea but als o Chelse send some new perspective players. Cambuur lost 4 imp players and didnt bring adequately signings
16.8. Championship, Blackpool –  Blackburn Rovers  2  1-2
Blachburn wants promotion fight (but little unrealistic). But games like this, oponents like this they must won to keep their dream no matter it’s away from home
We know Blackpool was in huge problems, played only two friendlies, had just they finaly bring some players (also some injured now) and they will have almost full bench
16.8. B&H, ZrinjskiM-Radnik Bijeljina  1  2-0
Zrinjski  again one of main title candidates, always very strong at home (first two rounds played away). Radnik weak team and now even weaker, manny players left

Was thinking about this game as VIP (would be pick on CSKA because of quality, more oponent problems and so on) but last two days was unclear situation with few players from both sides (imortant players – Spartak’s striker still unknows situation one hour before game, he wants play and risk) so decide to skip (maybe usefull info for someone)
CSKA -Spartak
CSKA without Dzagoev (long term, still without caps) and Doumbia (att 3/2), their main striker, last season 18 goals. Rasmus Elm and  Alexsandrs Cauna and also doubtful. Two important missings (ofensive) but when look roster and both sides missings, Spartak in worse position
Spartak for sure without important midfielders Aras Ozbiliz and Tino Costa and also main striker from last season Yura Movsisyan (27/16). Also out are Romulo and Joao Carlos. They bring Artem Dzyuba (28/17 last season in Rostov) and it was bingo, he scored 4 goals in first two games (both games 2 goals) and than on last game he injured in 28th minute and they was destroyed 4-0 by Krasnodar (waited for last news and seems he is definitly out ). Jurado and Ebert also doubts.
Before the game, both teams lost their trump cards in the attack – “Spartacus” in question involved Artem Dziuba. But CSKA will be in the coming weeks to play without their main striker shock – Ivorian Seydou Doumbia.

Austria info

Austria, 1. liga, Mattersburg – St. Polten  4-0
Mattersburg started good in this season. No injury problems.
St Polten also startzed good but also playing Europa league where they eliminate Botev and lost 1-0 vs PSV. Now will have 2nd game at home for just 3 days and players must be tired from this hard scedule. There is no big roster. Shame there are no news about posible line up but i belive coach must rotate squad, maybe even put reserves because they have nice chance in Europe. If later come squad news i will update info (specially if they decide to put reserves)

Preview: Western Sydney Wanderers v Brisbane Roar (semi finals)

after regular season Wester Sydney Wanderers was first (57pts), Brisbane Roar finished 5th (35pts)

hosts won all tree h2h games and they have tre important players back, roar has two players fit (which was doubtful)..

The Game:
Despite being up-and-down for most of the season, Brisbane aren’t about to give their title up without a fight and are just one game away from a third straight decider. Mike Mulvey has got his side firing at the right time, with last Sunday’s 2-1 win over Adelaide their third in a row. But if the Roar are to play for another championship they will need to knock off the in-form premiers.

Western Sydney are on a remarkable 12-game unbeaten run, have had the benefit of a week’s break and will play in front of their hostile and parochial home fans.

The busiest men at both clubs this week have been the medical staff with a host of key players from the respective sides racing the clock to be fit. Shinji Ono (groin), Aaron Mooy (knee) and Jerome Polenz (calf) all missed the title-winning clash with Newcastle a fortnight ago but are expected to line-up on Friday night.

Brisbane defender Jack Hingert is out for the season with an ankle injury picked up against Adelaide but skipper Thomas Broich (Achilles) and midfielder Luke Brattan (calf) are likely to play despite failing to finish the match against the Reds.

The big issue:
Wanderers – They took out the Premiers’ Plate in their debut season but there will be no second chances for Tony Popovic’s side from now on. This is sudden death football. While Brisbane have been there and done it over the last couple of years, for many of the Wanderers squad this will be a new experience. Just how they handle the pressure could determine if they move through to the decider.

Roar – Brisbane may have some momentum heading into this clash but the short turnaround and injury clouds over a couple of key players could prove pivotal. While the Wanderers will be fresh from a week off and had the opportunity to get a few of their stars over niggling injuries, the Roar head into this one just five days after a bruising win over Adelaide and that could take its toll late in this encounter.

Volyn Lutsk – Mariupol  ah 0 Mariupol

In “Volyn” ongoing personnel problems. Anatoly Demyanenko can not count on suspended Vanc Sikov (df 19/0), Petar Zanyeva (df 19/0) and Valentin Iliev (df 18/0), several players are in hospital or just starting to recover from injuries.–illichivec-naperedodni
