Guatemala » Liga Nacional » Xelaju – Penarol LM  x2 @ 1,95 bwin
Xelaju 9 points, Halcones 12. But Halcones played one game with reserves and juniors because of protest.
Xelaju has champions league game with Chivas Guadalajara for 3 days and will rest older, expirience players + topscorer (6/4): Fernando Patterson (42 años), Sergio Morales (39) y Johnny Girón (29) y suspendo Alpizar

Honduras » Liga Nacional » Real Espana – Marathon  1 @ 2,0 Sportingbet

Marathon is big team in Hinduras but they are having hard time. This is worst period in last 40 years. Season started before 4 rounds – they loose all 4 games. Some important players are not in club any more, coach get fired after last game and situation is very bad.

..but, things can be even worse. They have hard, overcrowded scedule and they will play 4 games in 10 days. They played 13/8 (olimpia demolished them 4-0), they palyed yesterday, loose home v Atlético Choloma 1-2, scored from penalty. They will play this game, less than 48 hours after last game and after this they have CONCACAF Champions lLeague game with Caledonia AIA (they was resting first CL round). So with this situation and this scedule, specially playing away, i think Real Espana has big chances to win this.

Real Espana loose two games and won two, both 1-0. Both they played home. Now they have chance to score more than 1 goal, Marathion get 9 goals in 4 round, defence is not good.

Friendly International, Canada – Trinidad & Tobago

Montreal Impact's Evan James, middle, in action for Canada's Olympic team.

DOBSON ON CANADA: YOUNGSTERS GET A CHANCE

Make no mistake about it, from Canada’s point of view, Wednesday’s friendly against Trinidad and Tobago in Florida has very little to do with preparing for the World Cup qualifiers in September.

The FIFA international date is on the calendar, at least for now, so Canadian coach Stephen Hart would be foolish not to take advantage of it, even if his he has other reasons for doing so.

On the 18-man roster there are probably ten or so players who will get the call for the meaningful qualifying matches down the road. The remaining group is a combination of fringe players and youngsters that Hart doesn’t get to see very often. And so it’s important to get them worked into the national team set-up and monitor their progress.

Lucas Cavallini is a perfect example. Hart did get a look at the young forward during the Olympic qualification tournament in the spring, but since he plays professionally in Uruguay, there are not many other opportunities. Cavallini is yet to be capped at the senior level and a friendly doesn’t count, but you can bet Hart is keeping close tabs on the Toronto-born striker, as he has Argentine ties through his father.

Cavallini is one of four players on the roster born in the 1990s. Toronto FC’s Doneil Henry, the Montreal Impact’s Evan James and the Vancouver Whitecaps Russell Teibert are the others.

All four were solid contributors on that Olympic team and there’s no doubt Hart is hoping they can all develop into players that can help the cause down the road. This is the first senior call up for all of them.

If you are wondering why there are hardly any European-based players on the team, it’s because this nonsensical FIFA international window is only 72 hours long and teams don’t have to release players until 48 hours before kickoff.

It doesn’t make much sense to try and bring in players from Europe under those circumstances. You’d be doing the player more harm than good. Watch for this FIFA date to disappear completely before too long.

For now it’s here, Hart will use it, and he’ll hopefully learn some things about some young players that perhaps he didn’t know. But solid preparation for the World Cup qualifiers in September this is not. Perhaps a year from now some of these players will be in the picture. The question is will Canada still be in the picture by then — or by November is more to the point.

Copa Chile

Iberia – U. De Concepcion

U de Concepcion will save his main players for league game and play with reserves against 3rd league club (segunda division)

A. Italiano – U. Catolica

This game already start (0-1) but maybe you can take it live, Catolica is rotating, will use lot reserves

Copa Colombia, Junior – La Equidad

junior is better team (specially when La Equidad leave some important players). But, today la equidad with almost full squad while Junior rotate.

Probables formaciones

Junior: Carlos Rodríguez; Iván Vélez, Diego Amaya, Andrés González, Arol Reyes; Luis Carlos Ruiz, Luis Narváez, Bréiner Belalcázar, Maicol Balanta; ‘Pichú’ Núñez, Carlos Rentería.
DT: José E. Hernández

Equidad: Julián Mesa; Elvis González, Flavio Córdoba, Stephen Barrientos, Darwin Andrade; Dáger Palacios, Juan Carlos Quintero, Donald Millán, Freddy Hinostroza; Wilson Morelos y Mario Jiménez. DT: Alexis García.

America De Cali – Rionegro

pick: America  @ 1,53  √ 2-0

America powerfull team, even stringer than in apertura. Today miss topscorer Paulo Cesar Arango (22/12) but two players come back, Rubén Bustos (df 17/3) y Mauricio Romero (df 22/0) + two new signing can play, Juan Carlos Escobar y Jonathan Philippe.

Deportivo Rionegro good team but very weak away (strong home on altitude). Important players left themafter apertura so they are weaker than before. Players which left club:

Duque Montoya (att 21/20)
Gallego Castañeda (df 20/0)
Puerta (df 21/3)
Rivera (mf 21/5)
Palacios (mf 20/1)

Probable once titular de América: Andrés Mosquera; Rubén Bustos, Julián Carabalí, Yeison Murillo, Julio Ortiz; Nicolás Schenone, Nondier Romero, Johnny Rivera (Escobar), Mauricio Romero, Stiven Mendoza; Jonatan Philippe. (® post by CaStRoF)
