England » Blue Square South » Boreham Wood – Sutton   over 2,5 @ 1,72  // dnb 2 @ 2,12

Hosts get tree red cards in last round (it was before two days). That was 3 defenders, Nunne (df 5/0), Garrard (df 5/0) and O’Loughlin (df 5/1).

Wood Manager Ian Allinson did well to temper his fury after the final whistle.    “Two individuals have let us down badly this afternoon with their poor reactions.    We will miss three key defenders for three matches including our first F.A. Challenge Cup tie, which is of our own making and that is disappointing.    We were competing well even after going a goal down and for the first twenty-five minutes of the second half even with nine men we had chances to equalise.    The second goal we gave away cheaply and that left us with a mountain to climb.    I would like to heap praise on the players that remained on the pitch for me today, they did not let me down. We will dust ourselves down and be up and ready to go again on Monday night against Sutton United.”

Suttonm scored on all 5 games this season. They was better than their today’s opponents last season (they played promotion playoff, they had 74 pts while Borenham has 61

Sutton have a good record at Boreham Wood under Paul Doswell, unbeaten in the last three visits although it needed an injury-time equaliser by Romone McCrae to preserve that record in last season’s game on Boxing Day. On Monday morning Paul was still hopeful of adding a central defender to his squad in time for him to feature in tonight’s game, with Simon Downer still on the sidelines.

Denmark » 1st Division » Koge – Lyngby 2 @ 2,15

Last season this would be 1st league game bbut both relegate. Lyngby was 11th with 28 points, Koge last, 12th with 19

Koge in awfull form. true, they won last one 7-1 away but that was cup game with lower league club. Koge won just 4 points, still didnt won and they have some injuries:

Fabinho usually still a groin injury, while both Marcel Romer and top scorer Anders Kaagh struggling with knee problems. Also Bo Storm is out – he’s still going to be quite ready after his long injury break.

On the other hand defender Andreas Sorensen back in the squad. The experienced defender has been out for over a month with a hamstring, but now it thus appears that the back is getting ready for a comeback.

Three U/19-spillere has found its way into the squad. It is about Sylvester Seeger-Hansen, debutede in the middle of the week trophy victory over AB Tårnby. He’s in the squad for Monday’s game against Lyngby been joined by the two U/18-landsholdsspillere Daniel Arrocha and Oliver Jorgensen.

Also important midfielder Martin Christensen left club.

Lyngby loose some players before season started (Emil Larsen, Anders Christiansen og Rajko Lekic) but they started great. They are stronger this game for Lasse Fosgaard, midfielder from Brønshøj.

Waterford United -v- Mervue United

Johnny Glynn’s Mervue United take a break from league action this evening as they make the long trip to the south east to finally face Waterford Utd in this third round FAI Ford Cup game.

There is a cup quarter-final place on offer with a tough away tie against Derry City in the Brandywell the reward for this evening’s winners. Twice postponed, the tie should finally take place with no sign of rain forecast for the day in Waterford.

Glynn side haven’t won in their last four games and will be looking to try for a good cup run after some poor league form.

Last weekend they did pick up a good point in a 1-1 draw at home to Finn Harps, with Cian McBrien scoring his first goal for the club to equalise for the home side. That point leaves Mervue second from bottom in the league table, two points ahead of Galway rivals SD Galway.

Mervue progressed to the Third Round after a 2-0 win against local rivals SD Galway courtesy of second half goals from Pat Hoban and Etanda Nkololo back in May.

Martin Conneely (ankle ligaments), Kenny Farrell (ankle), Alan Murphy (ankle) all missed Friday’s draw with Finn Harps and may not recover in time. Captain Mike Elwood and Cian McBrien will not travel due to work committments, while Shane Keogh should return having missed Fridays draw with Finn Harps.

Paul O’Brien’s Waterford United come into this tie on the back of a superb 1-0 win away to First Division league leaders Limerick on Friday night.

David Breen’s single goal late in the game secured their fourth win over Limerick this season and get the Blues back to winning ways ahead of this cup tie.

League form has dipped of late with no win in their last three home games; a defeat to Wexford Youths, scoreless draw against Athlone Town and a 1-1 draw against Finn Harps. Friday’s win should instil confidence in the Blues for Monday’s match.

Gary Dunphy and Daragh Walshe continue to miss out long term. Seamus Long and Willie John Kiely both return from suspension and may both come straight into the team. Paul Phelan and Craig Burns were both not fit enough for Friday’s match but may recover in time. Stephen Mulcahy and John Frost both were substituted on Friday with injuries and may need more treatment.

Sean Maguire will also miss the game as he links up with Paul Doolin’s Republic of Ireland Under-19 team for a training camp and friendly match in Latvia this week.

Referee: Kevin O’Regan

This is the third attempt for this cup game to be played with both previous attempts being postponed due to heavy rain making the RSC pitch unplayable.

Mervue United have lost twice this season to Waterford United already this season with the third match ending in a scoreless draw.

Mervue have lost all six previous trips to the RSC in league encounters.

Waterford United 3/10; Draw 7/2; Mervue United 9/1

saturday info

Zeljeznicar – Slavija

Zeljo wanted postponed game at last for day after, for sunday. Reason is some virus, maybe food poisoning. Bekrić, Antolović, Bogičević, Kvesić, Brković, Čolić, Svraka, Pehilj i Zolotić all poisoned. Also poisoned goalkeeper’s ccoach Adnan Gušo and team manader Rusmir Cviko.  Brković wont play for sure, other trained but they feew tired, exgausted

Split – Inter Zaprešic 1
Quality on home side. Inter is one of worst teams imo and Split big favorite here at home. Split is without liong ter injutred Krizanac. New missings are gk Zagorac but Vukovic is good replacement, he is good expirienced gk which was club’s captein. Also out are striker Belle (6/1) and radotic (df 6/0) but midfielder Pehar (4/1) is back. Inter without important Gulic (df 5/0), Celikovic (df 6/0) and Scrbec (mf 2/0). Mlinar (mf 5/0) is back. Home win

Zadar – Istra 1961 istra +0,5 @ 1,75
Istra has much more quality. Zadar won in last few seasong most of their points at home but this season they are one of worst teams, i belive they will relegate. Some missings on both sides but i cannot see Zadar’s win here. Istra is stabile club..

Lokomotiva – Dinamo Zagreb over 2,5
Lokomotiva is 2nd team of Dinamo, B team. Dinamo sold captein Badelj to HSV and they took Brozovic from Lokomotiva. Also club suspend Leko and Pokrivac..

Rijeka – Hajduk Split
derby. I am forsing Rijeka this season, they are now financial stabile club, they bring lot new players, exppirience and good palyers but they didnt showed much (yet). last game they loose 2-0, there was 2 penalties..I expect better resaults from them..
Hajduk as you probably know with wery young squad, most main players leave club in rpe season, now last one captein Vukusic leave to Pescara. He was their main striker. I expect manny oscilations this season for hajduk, i belive young teams can showe their talent but they cannot paly good continuously. i would better bet here on Rijeka but i am tired of forcing them. Maybe when they start showing something i start to bet on them..

Torino – Pescara x2 @ 1,95
Last season both was in serie B, pescara 1st, torino 2nd, both with 83 pts. True, Pescara loose two topscorers and coach Zdenek Zeman (team scored 90 goals) but they bring manny manny players and i dont get thsi odds. True, Torino was good at home but this odds attract me. No missing problems

Olympique Lyon – Valenciennes
Lyon sold their goalkeeper in last day of mercato just like defender Cissokho. Tree important players also out: Gourcuff, Cris and Lisandro Lopez
Valenciennes started veryx good, didnt even recive a goal. They have some long term injuries, just new one missing, striker Samassa (3/1) but two important midfielders comes back, Camara and Sanchez

Vitória Guimarães – Estoril
Estoril without striker Paulo and tree defenders: Thiago Gomes, Pedro and Steven Vitoria. Vitoria scored both goals forclub (df 2/2, last season 7 goals) so maybe this there is some chance for hosts. Maybe finaly they score goal

Anderlecht – Genk
Both played euro games this week but Anderlecht had two days more to rest. Both qualify for groups, Anderlecht in CL, Genk in EL. Anderlecht best team in country and specially good at home but Genk defeted them at home last, in playoffs april. But Genk today without tree standard defenders: Simaeys, Ngongca and Tshimanga + defender Joeneleit and striker Masika. Hosts without important missings

FC Admira – WAC
Admira will mis league topscorer Hosiner (att 6/5)

Al Nasr – Al Hilal
Both are from same city, Riyadh. Al Hilal is much better and richer club. Form is not perfect but they should won this . They won in last 5 meetings.

Lausanne vs Grasshopper Zurich

Lausanne out: Sebastien Meoli(r)(def), Michel Avanzini(sp)(mid), Anthony Favre(r)(gk), Mehmed Begzadic(sp)(att)
