Sweden, Djurgården – Helsingborg

Djurgarden -0,25 @ 1,93

Djurgarden come into good form (didnt loose on 16 games). Have some missings but nothing new, they are without that players few games
Helsingborg palyed before 3 days Champions elague game with Celtic, loose 2-0 but still hope they can make mirracle and come into CL groups so rotations are important. Also they have some important missings: defenders Hanstveit (15/0), Edman (6/0), Atta (12/2), Wahlstedt (6/0) and probably Sadiku (18/0) + midfielders Bergholtz (5/0) and Lindstrom (14/0) all out.

Leuven – Anderlecht

Anderlecht loose very important CL game but they have one more chance, 2nd game and coach decide to rest some players:

Badeend: value on the side of leuven. 1.58 average for Anderlecht is just so wrong. I see OHL +1 already dropped from 2.00, a pitty. Since OHL is in the jupiler league they only lost 5 games at home. The atmosphere is always great, more spectators then clubs like Lokeren, Kortrijk, Zulte … that already play in the JPL for years. Goals is another option, in all those games at home they didnt score in only 2 games and only kept the 0 once.

Selectie van Anderlecht voor de match tegen OHL:

Bedi, Bruno, Canesin Matos, De Sutter, Deschacht, Hawsawi, Iakovenko, Jovanovic, Juhasz, Kaminski, Kanu, Kljestan, Marecek, Molins, Odoi, Praet, Roef, Safari, Wasilewski

No Biglia, Proto, Kouyaté, Mbokani and Gille

Celje – Maribor

maribor loose 2-1 vs Dinamo and will rest some players (they do that before too). Celje loose their main striker, topscorer (went to Ludogorec)

Palmeiras – Santos  dnb2

Sasntos come into good form. They had bed resaults on beggining of season (traht’s why is that position on table) but they had played lot games with reserves because of copa libertadores and after that main players was with national team on olimpics. There are some long term injuries, not important. Back are Júan, Bernardo and Gerson Magrão (Juan will start from begining).
On the other side Palmeiras in problems. They are oscilating, they was focusing on Copa Sudamericana where they relegate two days ago (Santos played also, they played Recopa Sudamericana) and they have out important standard players: Thiago Heleno, Artur, fernandinho, Marcos Assuncao, Daniel Carvalho, Marcio Araujo, Wesley, Luan and Maikon Leite

SC Braga vs SC Beira-Mar

Braga will play in Italy for few days, most important game with Udinese (1-1) and they will rest some of main players. CVoach will for sure rest Ismaily (regular defender) and  Alan Silva (important mf), even some more expected

Inverness – Celtic

Manager calls on squad for testing trip

NEIL Lennon is missing a string of first-team regulars for Saturday´s clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle but regardless of what side he fields, he knows it will be a tough test in the Highlands.

Joe Ledley and Beram Kayal have both been ruled out following scans to their groin and ankle respectively, while Scott Brown, Georgios Samaras, Kris Commons and Thomas Rogne are all doubts. Anthony Stokes remains on the sidelines along with Daryl Murphy and Dylan McGeouch.

As a result, the manager has had to put his faith in a number of Development Squad players for the trip north but he is confident they will perform if they are called upon.

“The squad´s a bit stretched again, there are a few bumps and bruises from Tuesday night and we will have to change the team a little bit,” he said”.

“Regardless of whether we went with a full-strength team or not, it would still be a difficult game against Inverness and Ross County was the same last week. We played okay, not brilliantly, but we at least deserved a point out of the game on chances created and possession we had. I´m looking for a bit more urgency tomorrow.

“They´re (Joe and Beram) not long-term injuries and we have Victor Wanyama coming back into the squad for tomorrow. We still have options in all positions that we are looking at just now.

“The midfield is probably the strongest department at the club. We still have Brown, Wanyama, Twardzik and Mulgrew at a push who can come in and play there. Like I say, the injuries aren’t majorly concerning, particularly Joe´s.

“Beram´s is a little bit of a worry because it´s the other ankle, not the one he had surgery on. It´s been a bit stop-start for him but it´s early in the season. He worked really hard in the close-season to get himself fit and he´s suffering a wee bit of reaction from not playing.”

Inverness currently sit a point behind Celtic in the SPL table, and after coming from behind last week to draw 2-2 with Hearts, the manager is aware of how testing the lunchtime kick-off will be.

“They´ll be well motivated and physical and I think they´re playing a little bit more football this season,” he continued. “They had a great result at the weekend, coming from two down with 10 men.

“Their spirit and attitude has never been in question and I think Terry Butcher has improved Inverness over the years. They shop around well and attract players from England, which is a difficult thing to do. They seem to have a bit more hunger about them every year.”

Another test Celtic face is the mental and physical exhaustion which has come with all the travelling and fixtures in recent weeks. In seven days alone, the Hoops have travelled up to the Highlands, to and from Sweden, and are now embarking on another bus journey north.

“A lot of focus have been on these Champions League games and it´s a concern that people think we´re taking our eye off the ball domestically,” the Irishman continued. “We´re not, we´re just trying to manage the squad as best we can for all of these games.

“It´s been a really hectic, difficult schedule and I think the players have handled it pretty well. It´s been tiring, it´s really tough. Physically it´s very demanding on the players, and mentally as well.

“I see Terry was saying we´ll be getting a 45-minute plane journey up, but we´re not. We bused last week and we´ll be busing today as well.”

Manchester United – Fulham

Reds still short of centre-backs

Sir Alex Ferguson admits the Reds are still beset by injury problems at the heart of the defence although Phil Jones is back in training.

United are planning to hand a home debut to Robin van Persie against Fulham but the main focus is on the centre-back position with Jonny Evans still not ready to return leaving Patrice Evra as a contender to move inside if new signing Alexander Buttner is included.

“I need to call Bruce and Pallister!,” joked the boss, who fielded Michael Carrick alongside Nemanja Vidic at Goodison Park.

“Phil Jones started training yesterday but tomorrow is too soon for him. Robin has had a few days training since Monday. It’s a home game and there’s every chance he could get a start.

“It’s pretty much the same as Monday night injury-wise. Alex will be involved tomorrow because he gives that back-up. Evra could actually play centre-back. He has done in the past. But I don’t think Alex will start tomorrow, I think he’ll be on the bench.”

The manager is fully aware of the need to bounce back from the defeat at Everton but appreciates the Cottagers will provide a tough test.

“I went to see Fulham last Saturday and they played very well,” he added. “They have a lot of experience in their team with six players over 30. We’re at home and we need to make an impact quickly after Monday’s game.”
