Andy Taylor (Sheff Utd) is poised to make his second competitive second string start when the Reserves travel to Walsall on Monday afternoon.
United face the Saddlers at the Banks’s Stadium, kick-off 2pm and the left-back will be looking for a second 90 minutes inside a week after playing in last week’s 6-1 thrashing of Stoke City at Shirecliffe.
Monday’s squad has a more youthful look than the one that faced the Potters, George Long replaces Mark Howard in goal, whilst U18s Terry Kennedy and Joe Ironside start, with Aaron Barry, Elliott Whitehouse and Callum McFadzean on the substitutes bench.
